Simon Seebaluck brings more than two decades of business and leadership experience, with extensive expertise across sustainability strategy, ESG integration, governance, leadership, marketing, GRI reporting, circular economy, stakeholder engagement and organisational transformation.
He is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, author, Founder of Skyfall Consulting, executive trainer and PhD candidate at the University of Mauritius.
His experience goes beyond reporting and strategy. Simon has been involved in practical sustainability initiatives, including the transformation of more than 1.3 million discarded plastic bottles into recycled denim yarn, demonstrating how circular economy principles can create both environmental and business value.
Why does this matter for Mauritius?
Mauritian businesses increasingly operate within international supply chains where sustainability expectations, ESG disclosure, carbon management and responsible sourcing are becoming part of doing business.
Through this partnership, Skyfall Consulting and SustainZone will combine local market knowledge, relationships and advisory capability with international technical expertise across carbon accounting, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, SBTi, EUDR, EPR, ESG, supply chain sustainability, circular economy and digital sustainability solutions.
The objective is to offer organisations an end to end sustainability solution, from assessment and measurement through to advisory, technical solutions, implementation support, digital monitoring and capability development.
For SustainZone, this partnership is an important step in strengthening connections between Mauritius, the Indian Ocean, Africa, the UK and international markets, while helping organisations move from sustainability ambition to measurable implementation.
We are delighted to have Simon working alongside us and look forward to what we can achieve together.
Welcome to the journey, Simon.
